TOM ESLICK Live in Concert

The idea for this concert was hatched on New Year's Eve, 2004 at neighbors Claire and Dudley Mosely's house. We share an isolated New Hampshire road where the traffic to watch out for is mostly moose and bear. As we waited for the new year to arrive, Claire expressed that while she had known of my exploits as a writer of fiction she had heard nothing of my secret life as a singer songwriter. After prattling on about my erstwhile life on the stage, Claire, always rescourceful and clever, said "You must give a concert to help raise funds for the new community center." Knowing Claire, I realized then and there I was sunk. It was a done deal. As pleasurable and fulfilling as the concerts was to perform , are the memories of people pulling together to make something happen. Small towns are where it's at if neighbors just open their doors and welcome each other in, that much I've learned. The new community center has been built now, and I feel privileged to have been a part of the plan. Stop by and see it if you get a chance.
